Church Related Information Technology Blog

I am a Christian, a husband, father of 3, grandfather of 7. I have a deep love for my Heavenly Father and wish to glorify Him in all that I say and do. While I have been interested in computers and technology for some time, my real journey began in 1998 when I was hired as a computer tech at a Nashville computer consulting company. The journey began as I traveled to client locations and did routine computer maintenance on clients machines. My co-workers fondly refered to the position as “The Computer Janitor”. While the job may sound demeaning, I would highly recommend this as a starting place because it builds relationships with your clients. That was the best opportunity to discover their computer needs, which in turn leads to sales that may not have other wise been discovered.

In 2004 I was hired as the Systems Administrator at Christ Church in Nashville. They were one of my clients from the consulting firm. I love working for the church because it gives me an opportunity to make an impact in the kingdom of God while earning a living.
